Canada One Mining Corp. has received a significant five-year exploration drilling permit from the British Columbia Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals for its flagship Copper Dome Project, marking a pivotal milestone in the company's exploration strategy. CEO and President Peter Berdusco highlighted the permit's importance, emphasizing that it will allow the company to comprehensively explore the project through to potential discovery.
The focus will be on the newly identified Boundary Zone discovered in 2023, with the planned 2025 field season designed to prioritize exploration targets based on comprehensive geological, geochemical, geophysical, and structural data analysis. Historical drilling in the Friday Creek and Combination Creek Zones has already yielded encouraging results, with notable copper and gold intercepts.
The project's strategic location, situated just 1.5 kilometers from Hudbay Mineral's Copper Mountain Mine deposits, further enhances its potential significance. The exploration permit represents a critical step in Canada One Mining's commitment to resource development and meeting growing global demand for critical metals. By systematically investigating the Copper Dome Project's geological potential, the company aims to generate value for investors while contributing to the region's mining industry.
