Golden Cariboo Resources Reports Promising Gold Findings at Halo Zone

Mining exploration company Golden Cariboo Resources has reported significant findings from its recent drilling activities at the Halo zone, located near Hixon, British Columbia. The drill hole QGQ24-21 intersected a mineralized zone containing multiple occurrences of visible gold before being prematurely terminated at a depth of 310.18 meters. After drilling through 257 meters of hanging wall rocks, the exploration team successfully encountered 53 meters of continuous, strong sericite-iron carbonate altered greenstones.

These rock formations hosted an intense stockwork of quartz-carbonate veins with multiple visible gold occurrences, marking a promising development for potential mineral extraction. The drill hole, which commenced in December 2024 and was temporarily halted for the Christmas break, was stopped within the mineralized zone due to drill hole instability. Notably, the deepest visible gold occurrence was found just 1.8 meters above the final drilling point, suggesting potential for further exploration.

The company plans to proceed with the next drilling hole along a similar trajectory to intersect the zone up-dip and to the north. Currently, the drill core has been fully logged and is being prepared for sampling, with sample shipments to ALS Canada Ltd. anticipated in the coming days. The Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property, spanning 94,889 hectares, is strategically located in a region with a rich gold mining history.

Historically, over 101 placer gold creeks along the 90-kilometer trend have recorded production, and successful placer mining continues in the area. The technical information was reviewed by Jean Pautler, P.Geo., a qualified person with respect to NI 43-101 standards, providing credibility to the exploration findings. This discovery represents a significant advancement in understanding the mineralization potential of the Halo zone and reinforces the property's position within British Columbia's established gold-bearing regions.

The presence of multiple visible gold occurrences within a substantial mineralized interval suggests the potential for economically viable gold deposits.
