Cloud DX Renews Remote Patient Monitoring Agreements with Ontario Paramedic Services

Cloud DX has announced the renewal of its Master Deployment Agreements with two Ontario Community Paramedic Services, strengthening its position in the remote patient monitoring market. The agreements include a 12-month contract with an Ontario County Paramedic Service and a 24-month agreement with the Guelph Wellington - City of Guelph Paramedic Service, demonstrating continued confidence in Cloud DX's healthcare technology solutions.

The renewed partnerships support the Community Paramedicine for Long-Term Care program, which is fully funded by the Ontario provincial government to provide additional care for seniors before admission into long-term care facilities. This initiative has gained significant momentum with the recent announcement of an additional $174 million CAD in funding to expand the CPLTC program from 2024 onwards, highlighting the growing importance of remote patient monitoring in senior care.

Through Cloud DX's Connected Health Remote Patient Monitoring services, paramedics can offer daily monitoring of vital signs, physical symptoms, and chronic conditions to elderly patients. The system enables patients to interact directly with paramedics through the Cloud DX mobile app, facilitating close oversight while empowering patients to actively participate in managing their own healthcare. This approach represents a significant advancement in how community paramedic services deliver care to vulnerable populations.
