Baselode Energy Commences 1,500-Meter Drill Program at Bear Uranium Project

Baselode Energy has initiated a 1,500-meter drill program at its Bear Uranium project situated in the Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan. The exploration campaign will consist of six to eight drill holes strategically positioned across three to four distinct areas of interest within the project boundaries. According to company CEO James Sykes, field crews have already commenced logistical preparations, with drill crews scheduled to arrive on-site within the next two weeks.

The program incorporates helicopter support to accelerate drill targeting while minimizing ground-level environmental disturbance. This approach reflects the company's commitment to efficient exploration practices. Baselode Energy has secured all required regulatory permits for the program, ensuring full compliance with environmental and operational standards. The Athabasca Basin represents one of the world's most prolific uranium-producing regions, making new exploration initiatives particularly significant for future energy supply chains.

Complementing the drill program, Baselode Energy completed a low-altitude, high-resolution airborne radiometric and magnetic survey over the Bear project in March. While final results remain pending, the company anticipates receiving this data before drilling commences. Simultaneously, the company provided updates on its Catharsis Project, where recent drilling comprised 11 holes totaling 2,837 meters across six target areas. Preliminary observations identified encouraging hydrothermal alteration and structural features in two additional target zones, suggesting potential mineralization. Baselode Energy plans to release comprehensive results once all assay data has been received and interpreted. A similar airborne survey was completed over the Catharsis Project in April, providing complementary geological information for analysis.
