Northstar Gold Corp Advances Exploration at Miller Copper-Gold Property with Electromagnetic Surveys

Northstar Gold Corp has initiated borehole electromagnetic and surface electromagnetic surveys at the Cam Copper Mine area within its Miller Copper-Gold Property in Ontario. The company is conducting Crone Pulse-EM surveys across a 900-metre strike length to delineate potential extensions of the Cam Copper VMS horizon and identify conductors toward the southeast. According to Brian Fowler, Northstar Gold Corp's CEO, the primary objective is to pinpoint areas with thicker accumulations of copper-rich massive sulfides at this historically significant site characterized as a road-accessible shaft mine and past producer of high-grade direct shipping copper ore.

The utilization of Pulse-EM technology represents a strategic approach to exploration, as this method has played a pivotal role in several past discoveries, including Hudbay Minerals' Lalor VMS deposit discovery in Manitoba in 2003. By leveraging advanced surveying techniques and proven exploration methodologies, Northstar Gold Corp aims to enhance its understanding of the geological characteristics of the Cam Copper Mine area. Additionally, a borehole BHEM survey will be conducted on the four Cam Copper diamond drill holes completed earlier this year, building upon previous exploration work.
