Direct Liquidation Owner Launches Year-Long Auction Initiative to Support Fallen Officers' Families

Jeff Schwarz, owner of Direct Liquidation and Direct Auctions, has committed to a year-long fundraising initiative throughout 2024 to support the Memorial Ribbon Society of Canada. The business owner will be auctioning off donated items with all proceeds benefiting the non-profit organization that assists families of fallen police and peace officers. The first auction begins on Saturday, March 23, featuring a diverse range of donated items from Schwarz's business partners.

Among the notable items available in the inaugural auction are a Moes sectional sofa, a signed Gordie Howe Team Canada jersey, a Bradley Original Smoker, a 36-volt electric bike, and five comprehensive mini auto detailing packages valued at $1,500. Schwarz emphasized the dual benefit for successful bidders, noting that participants not only acquire valuable items but also contribute to supporting families and children of fallen law enforcement personnel. The business owner, known as 'The Liquidator' from his television show that aired for five seasons in over 160 countries, brings over 25 years of experience in the buying and selling industry.

The auction initiative reflects Schwarz's business philosophy of bringing buyers and sellers together with everyone winning. He expressed enthusiasm for the interactive nature of online auctions, noting that things can get pretty crazy during live bidding events and that he enjoys engaging directly with bidders. The Memorial Ribbon Society auction is currently open for registration, allowing participants to bid online or set maximum bids if they cannot attend the live events. Throughout 2024, Direct Auctions will continue adding donated lots to raise additional funds for what Schwarz describes as a worthy cause supporting those affected by the loss of law enforcement personnel.
